Michael C. Taylor Announces Campaign Platform for Augusta Mayor

My name is Michael C. Taylor and it would be an honor to serve as your next mayor of Augusta. If elected mayor, I promise to focus on the infrastructure of areas in our town that are frequently ignored. I will treat the concerns of each part of the town equally and fairly. I would also like to concentrate on beautifying the streets and intersections of the town that are not currently being focused on. I believe we should look to provide more recreational functions for our youth. I will ensure that the Augusta Pool will be renovated as quickly as possible. I will also work to bring an arcade-type facility to the town. Safety will be a major focus of mine. With the drug addiction crisis, I feel it is important to ensure that every citizen is safe. I plan to bring on a part time officer to fill in for our full time officers when they have sick days, vacation days and also help as needed by the police chief. I am very thankful to be a part of our wonderful community. I ask for your vote for mayor of Augusta on November 6.
